I've had my Crock Pot for three months. I made soup this weekend and it worked fine. Went to use it this evening, and the power light comes on, but all it does is flash. Cannot choose a setting, and when I press the OFF button I cannot turn the unit back on unless I unplug it and then plug it back in. Waste of money. Next time I'll buy a different brand and will get one that has a dial to select the heat and use a a plug-in programmer like I used to.

I've used this Crock-Pot several times in the few weeks that I've owned it, and I can say that I am truly more than pleased with this purchase! My previous slow cooker was a Rival Brand crockpot which tended to boil my food on low. I never felt comfortable leaving my old slow cooker on while I was at work for 9+ hours each day. For any recipe that called for 8 hours of low cooking time, the meal would be ready within 3-4 hours and would start to scortch the sides shortly after!
When I started my search for a new crockpot, I considered all options, including high end ranges like All Clad and Breville. I'm MORE than thrilled that I went the route of this Crock-Pot. Yes, it isn't as "programmable" as some (it's options for cooking are ONLY low: 8 or 10 hours and high: 4 or 6 hours - it also has a WARM setting).
For my very first use, I decided that I would try it on a Saturday, when I could monitor how the slow cooker actually cooked the food. I didn't really want to leave the house using an appliance for the first time. I noticed that it cooked the chicken very slowly. I was thrilled with the results. An 8 hour recipe really did take 8 hours, which was SO unlike my other slow cooker! It really does cook on low - barely a simmer - which is exactly how a slow cooker should be! After the cook time is up, it automatically switches to the WARM feature, and remains on WARM for up to 6 hours (which is a nice safety feature in case you forget to turn off the pot).
Clean up is a breeze! The insert is dishwasher safe, and the brushed stainless steel wipes up perfectly. It is a very large appliance, so be sure you have the counterspace or the storage space for it! The lid fits snuggly on to the pot - it has a rubber seal, which really helps at preventing a sliding or bubbling lid.
Overall, I'm thrilled with this purchase - I'm so glad that I decided to take a chance on this slow cooker instead of spending 3-4 times the amount on a high-end one!

I've been drinking a cup of coffee everyday since my sophomore year of high school. Now, five years later, it's starting to show in my teeth. I wanted to whiten my teeth just a little bit by the time I went back home for Thanksgiving, and after a week, I can really tell the difference. I took pictures before and after each use, and there was even a slight different after the first treatment. (I'm actually doing a treatment as I'm typing this up~) I'd post the pictures, but Amazon isn't letting me. 
I whitened once everyday (usually around 5-6pm after I eat dinner) for 30 minutes. I do my lower and bottom rows separately because it was hard holding the trays in both at one time. The taste of the gel isn't too bad. Though, the next morning, I had this very dry after taste, but it went away after I used some mouthwash and drank some water.
I messed up a little on the first treatment, and got a little bit of gel on my gums. It did burn for a little while, but went away before the 30 minutes were up. I didn't feel any soreness after the treatments, so I haven't used the the blue gel all that much. I've found it easier to just apply the gel directly onto my teeth and then putting on the tray.
My only issue is the trays. I tried molding them like in the instructions, but they still didn't fit all that great. So I went out and found smaller ones and they worked fine. Another thing is that flossing after whitening was a tad bit uncomfortable. I haven't had the problem since the second treatment, so maybe flossing before-hand would be best. 
All in all, this is a great product! I can wait to go home for Thanksgiving to show off my super bright smile to the family!
P.S. Take pictures before and after each treatment! I enjoy documenting the progression, and maybe you will too!

I decided to try the 5 minute touch up strips because I had used the Professional Effects Whitestrips and I loved them. They had actually whitened my teeth dramatically. They would hold perfectly to my teeth when I put them on. Well, with the 5 minute touch up strips, I did not have the same effect. They did not stick to my teeth like I expected them to, They actually slid off and if I tried to talk with them...forget about it. I would not recommend this product to anyone. Crest need to come up with a new advanced 5 minute whitening strip that actually sticks to your teeth and doesn't leave so much residue when taken off.

White teeth is what you get. This is the real deal product. I have trays done by dentist a year or two back and had product from dentist from proffessional whitening so that is the basis of my comparison. This is every bit as good as you get from the Doc and better since you pay about a 20th of what you will after an office visit ect.... After four 15 minute sessions over two days I would call it 4/5 shades whiter and I have enough product to whiten the whole street if I wanted to. This will last the entire two years that they say it will if kept in the fridge. Don't think just buy it and you will be happy. If you have senisitive teeth it might sting but thats how you know it works, so suck it up.

I am using these white strips as I write this review and I have to say I am a little disappointed in them. I used some Crest White strips a few months ago which were the Advanced Vivid strips and I LOVED THEM! The Advanced Vivid strips adhered to my teeth better, so I never had to taste the gross whitening goop, and they seemed to whiten a little better. Don't get me wrong the Vivid strips will whiten your teeth but when I compare it to the Advanced Vivid I will from now on spend the extra money on those. The basic Vivid strips are obviously cheaper and can be a bit frustrating to adhere. I have a built in retainer and so the bottom strip never folds over my teeth like it should. The Advanced Vivid strips are shaped to more easily adhere to your teeth and I never had an issue with those. This is just a lesson learned for me.

I had used this product before, but not such a strong solution. I was concerned about teeth sensitivity, but I learned the hard way that you must be careful not to let the product overrun the trays and get on your gums. And, in fact, I believe it states in the directions that you are to wipe off any excess. Having used the product before and having had no problem with this, I didn't read the directions prior to applying. Big mistake. The bleach in the produt apparently burned my gums so badly that I couldn't keep the trays in for more than about 20 minutes. Thereafter, I had to wait a few days to let my gums heal before trying again. The next time I used a much smaller amount and tired to thoroughly wipe off any excess, yet it still burned the gum area above one tooth which took about 4 days to heal. I have not tried Opalesence again.
